A shape-shifting mobile campaign headquarters and stage for pop-up performances and talks, made of recycled sea containers
What's in the box?
LAB Architects have repurposed an upcycled shipping container to act as the campaign’s mobile venue and exhibition space, painted in the ‘climate stripes’ developed by Reading climate scientist Professor Ed Hawkins. The architects where possible reused, recycled and upcycled materials in order to minimise the embodied carbon use in the build.
British artist Kate Daudy, Berlin-based sound designer William Russell of MONOM Studios and international architect LAB Architects, have each created bespoke commissions all housed in our transformational social club.
breaking bread
We want to grab every chance we get to sit down and have a chinwag with the folk who live or work along our route. Please hail us down if you see us passing, or email us to hatch a proper plan for us to stop and meet up for lunch, dinner or a cuppa, a whiskey, a brioche, a Zbornjak or a cheese bap. We’ll go anywhere: community centre, village hall or flat and promise to do the dishes for anyone who shares with us even the humblest of snacks.
