Paris to Brussels

Paris to Brussels: 17 – 28 Jan

We say au revoir to Paris after a bootcamp in the city’s plans vis-a-vis historic carbon, and head north, taking a trail through the oaks, limes and beech trees of beautiful Oise national park. We sneak in pit-stops at historic Senlis, Noyon, Saint Quentin and Mennevret, before ducking into the Avenois national park and breaking for the Belgian border. First up is Wallonia, the Francophone southern-section of Belgium, where we skirt close to Mons. Next stop: Brussels, capital of Belgium and the Flemish region, and the administrative centre of the European Union – which recently unveiled its landmark carbon removal certification proposal.
